What is Notifio and how does it work?

Notifio is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that automatically monitors rental listing websites in the background. Once you paste a search results URL from any rental site, Notifio checks that page every 30 seconds using randomised polling intervals to avoid detection. The moment a new listing appears that was not present during the previous check, Notifio instantly sends you an email alert containing a direct link to the listing.

Because Notifio runs silently in your system tray, you never need to manually refresh or check rental sites yourself. It works entirely passively. You set it up once and go about your day. Whether you are at work, asleep, or doing something else entirely, Notifio is watching your searches and will alert you the second something new appears.

Why is speed important when searching for rentals?

The rental market in major cities is extremely competitive. Popular listings receive dozens of responses within minutes of going live. Most people who miss a listing do so not because they were uninterested, but because they simply did not see it in time. Which rental sites does Notifio support?

Notifio is designed to work with almost any website that displays rental listings in a browser. This includes Kamernet, Pararius, Funda, Roommatch, HousingAnywhere, Spotahome, and hundreds of other national and local rental platforms. Because Notifio uses a real browser engine to load pages, it works even on sites that require JavaScript to render their listings. For sites that require you to be logged in to see results, Notifio handles login sessions automatically. We have tested a wide range of rental sites, but we cannot guarantee that every site on the internet will work. Does Notifio require a subscription?

No. Notifio has no subscriptions at all. Monitoring and email alerts are a one-time purchase of £20 that gives you a lifetime licence, with all future updates included, and it never expires. Auto-reply, which fills in and submits contact forms for you, is a separate optional upgrade of £20 paid once. Both are one-time payments, so there is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.

How is Notifio different from setting up email alerts on a rental site?

Built-in email alerts from rental sites are typically delayed by 15 minutes to several hours because they batch notifications rather than checking in real time. Notifio polls every 30 seconds, meaning you are alerted in near real-time. Additionally, many rental sites do not offer email alerts at all, or they only work for logged-in users on their specific platform. Notifio works across all sites simultaneously and sends every alert straight to your inbox.

Is Notifio safe and private?

Notifio is a native desktop application that runs entirely on your own machine. Your search URLs, login sessions, listing snapshots, and the personal details used by auto-reply are stored only on your computer and are never sent to us. The only thing our servers hold is your email address, your licence token, and a billing record. There are no accounts to create and no advertising or analytics tracking.
