Credit first: save a search on Idealista and you can choose immediate, daily or weekly alerts, and immediate is the correct setting. If you are currently on the daily summary, change it today, because that part costs nothing and this page is not an argument against having it.
What immediate describes, though, is the moment Idealista decides you should be told. Between that decision and an email you can actually read sits a chain: the advert is indexed, a matching job works out whose saved searches it belongs to, a notification job builds the message, a bulk email provider accepts it, that provider's queue sends it, your mail server accepts it, and your client syncs. Every one of those hops is scheduled work running at a volume measured in hundreds of thousands of messages a day. That infrastructure is not built to be fast for you specifically; it is built to be reliable for everybody at once, and the two goals pull in opposite directions.
Notifio has none of that chain. It loads your search results page every 30 seconds in a real browser on your own machine, compares it against the previous check, and sends one email to one person the instant something new is on the page. There is no matcher, no batch, no queue you are standing in behind everyone else who saved the same search. And if you have drawn a precise map area, the four streets you would actually live on, that polygon is part of your search URL, so Notifio watches exactly it.
Then there is coverage. Almost nobody hunting in Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia searches only Idealista: Fotocasa, Habitaclia, Pisos.com and a rotating cast of agency sites all carry stock the others do not, each with its own account, its own alert settings and its own way of going quiet without telling you. Use alquiler-viviendas, not venta
Idealista separates rentals and sales by path. Check the URL starts with /alquiler-viviendas/ before you copy it, or you will be alerted about purchases all week.

Add ordenado-por=fecha-publicacion-desc. New stock stays at the top and your alert click-through lands on the right advert.

Draw your area if the district is too broad
Idealista's map drawing encodes the polygon into the URL. In cities where two streets apart means two hundred euros, this is the single highest-value thing on this page.

- Search results are public. Idealista does apply bot protection, so sign in once through Notifio's in-app browser and keep the interval at the default rather than pushing it down.

Idealista already emails me immediately. Why would I add Notifio?
Because immediate is the name of the setting, not a measurement of when the email arrives. Idealista decides to notify you immediately, then the message crosses a matching job, a bulk email provider and a send queue shared with everybody else who saved a similar search. Notifio reads the page itself every 30 seconds and mails one person, so there is nothing to queue behind.
Does it work on idealista.it and idealista.pt?
Yes. They are the same platform in different countries, and any search URL from any of them can be a monitor.
Will Idealista block me for monitoring a search?
Idealista is more protective than most portals. Notifio uses a real browser at randomised human intervals on a single page, which is what ordinary browsing looks like. Leave the interval at the default and do not run ten monitors against the same search.
Can I be alerted about price reductions?
Indirectly. If you set a price ceiling, a flat reduced into that ceiling appears on your search page and Notifio treats it as new, which is one of the cases portal alerts commonly miss.
