Comparisons
Rental alert tools, compared honestly
We make one of the products on this page, so read it with that in mind. What we have tried to do instead of pretending otherwise is quote every price from the other company’s own pricing page, link to it, and say plainly on each comparison where the other tool is the better buy — because for some people it is.
Prices below were checked in September 2026. Subscription pricing moves, so follow the links before you decide anything.
The question that actually decides this
Do you have a computer you are willing to leave on?
Everything else follows from that. Cloud services keep watching while your laptop is shut, and charge every month for the privilege because every check costs them money. Notifio runs on hardware you already own, which is why it can check twice a minute without metering and costs £20 once — and why it stops watching when you close the lid. If you have no machine to spare, pay the subscription. If you do, you are renting something you could own.

How to choose without reading all five
You have no computer to leave running. Pick a cloud subscription. Rentbird, RentSlam and Stekkies all do the same job competently and price within a few euros of each other, so choose on whether you want WhatsApp alerts or a phone app. Notifio will not work well for you, and we would rather say so than take the £20.
Your search is broad and you do not know which sites matter. Start with an aggregator for the breadth. A thousand crawled sites is not something you will reproduce by pasting URLs, and for a vague search that breadth is genuinely the right tool.
You know exactly which searches you want, and some need a login. This is where Notifio is strongest and where crawlers cannot follow. A logged-in Kamernet view, a Facebook Marketplace search, one agency’s own listings page and a drawn map area on Funda are four monitors here and unreachable to an aggregator.
Your search might run for months. Do the arithmetic before you subscribe. Three months of any subscription on this page is roughly €50; Notifio is £20 and the fourth month costs nothing, as does the next search two years from now.
You want a general-purpose page watcher. Use Visualping and do not use us. Notifio watches rental listings and nothing else.
